5. get yourself a plastic bag. boredom kills, remember? you might feel a little nauseous in the process
6. if death fails you, it fails you. now go to bed, try to get some sleep. you need it.

Kemaren aku nonton Elizabethtown di tivi. Film taun 2005, yang main si Orlando Bloom n Kirsten Dunst. Mereka kenal di pesawat, ngobrol-ngobrol-ngobrol-ngobrol, trus mereka temenan. Gak pacaran, cuma ‘temenan gila’. I mean, they can talk on the phone for hours and hours and hours, trus pagi2 mereka janjian ketemu di pinggir danau cuma buat liat sunrise berdua. And still, mereka gak pacaran. Pertemanan mereka aneh. They do this ice cream talk all the time (yang biasanya kita sebut ‘talking sweet nothings’, mereka bilangnya ‘ice cream talks’), becanda gila2an, like bestfriends do. Mereka nyebut diri mereka ’subsitute people’. Mereka punya pacar, tapi kalo lagi gak sama pacarnya, mereka nyolong-nyolong waktu berdua. Substitute people.

Tapi ya gitu deh, mereka temenan tapi kadang jeles-jelesan juga gitu. Satu saat si cowo tingkahnya makin aneh, trus cewe ini marah. She says, “you know, you keep trying to break up with me, and we’re NOT even together!” Trus kata si cowonya,” I know…Uh, we’re not???”. “NO! We’re substitute people, remember?!”. And boom. She took off. Cowonya cuma bisa bengong. Haha…lucu banget.

Dan ada satu scene yg keren. Mereka jalan kaki keliling kota malem2. Ga ngapa2in, they just walk. Trus cewenya bilang gini, “Hey, now we actually have a shot at being friends for the rest of our lives.” He stopped, looked her in the eye, and he said, “For the rest of our lives”. Trus mereka pelukan. Ah, sweet.

Watching this movie, I’m…I dont know, baby. It just…reminds me of you. Of us, dan pertemanan kita yang juga aneh. We’re substitute people, dont you think? I know i can always count on you, and you can count on me, too. And here comes the best part: we can be friends for the rest of our lives.
